Valentine’s Day at Nu Nu Restaurant
Celebrate Valentine’s Day with your special someone, beachfront at Palm Cove. We will be offering a magnificent four-course tasting menu composed by our head chef Nick Holloway with a glass of bubbles on arrival for $95pp. Pre-payment and bookings are essential. The Great Australian Cookbook
From Tuesday, November 7 at 8.45pm, Lifestyle FOOD will be taking viewers on a mouth- watering adventure around Australia to meet the country’s most celebrated culinary names in a stunning new series, The Great Australian Cookbook. Our head chef, Nick Holloway, is very excited to be featuring on the anticipated new show. Being the only episode filmed in Queensland, Nick invites family and friends over to his outdoor kitchen for a huge feast of wood-roasted reef fish with pineapple curry, sharing a wok load of tips of preparing fish and celebrating everything Tropical North Queensland has to offer. Be sure to tune in to Episode 4 on Tuesday November 28 and catch this exciting episode!
Nu Nu retains One Hat in the 2018 national Good Food Guide
Nu Nu Restaurant has retained its chef’s hat for the fourteenth year running on the 16th of October at the National Good Food Guide award ceremony.
 
After 38 years as a city-specific restaurant guide, the 2018 Good Food Guide is now a single national edition, covering 500 restaurants around Australia - 267 of those were awarded One Hat or more. The 2018 edition has been heavily researched and compiled by a team of respected critics and co-edited by Roslyn Grundy and Myffy Rigby.
 
Nu Nu is one of only three restaurants in Tropical North Queensland to receive One Hat, and we are proud beyond words at this running achievement. Click here to pick up your copy. 
Nick Holloway collaborates with Ian Curley in the Black Caviar Room at the Caulifield Races
The Caulfield Racecourse is regarded as one of the best thoroughbred racing and events venues in Australia. This year, Nick was very excited to be collaborating with Ian Curley in the Black Caviar Room. Nick made one Nu Nu’s signature dishes, the gorgonzola and milk infused wagyu with alliums and bacon broth.
