Privacy Policy.
LAST UPDATED · 24 October 2026
1. Introduction
This policy explains how Nu Nu Restaurant (the "restaurant", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses and safeguards your personal information. By using our website, booking a table or engaging our services, you consent to this policy.
2. Personal information we collect
Contact details (name and email), reservation details, anything you tell us in an enquiry, order and delivery details when you buy from our online shop, and your marketing preferences. When you browse this site, Google Analytics also records how it is used: the pages you view, the links you click (such as Book a table), your approximate location (city level), and your device and browser type. It does not tell us who you are.
3. How we use your information
To process bookings and enquiries, deliver the services you've requested, send marketing emails where you've opted in, understand how the site is used so we can improve it, and maintain security and compliance.
4. Sources
Information is collected directly from you when you submit forms, from third parties like our booking platform (NowBookIt), events platform (iVvy) and online shop (Shopify), and from Google Analytics when you browse this site.
7. Advertising and online tracking
We do not run advertising or remarketing on this site. Google Analytics is set up with Google signals and ad personalisation turned off, so what it records is used to measure the site, not to target you. If that changes, this policy will be updated before it does.
8. Managing your preferences
You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time via the link at the foot of our emails, or by writing to us at info@nunu.com.au.
9. Sharing information publicly
Information you share in public areas (social media, reviews) is not private and may be seen by other users.
10. Security
We use reasonable safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise absolute security.
11. Links to other sites
Our site links to third-party sites whose privacy practices are not covered by this policy.
12. Overseas transfers
Some of our service providers store or process personal information outside Australia: Brevo in the European Union, Shopify in Canada and the United States, and Vercel and Google in the United States. By using the site you consent to this transfer.
13. Policy changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date will change accordingly.
14. Access and correction
You can request access to or correction of your personal information by emailing info@nunu.com.au.
15. Contact and complaints
Address any complaint to info@nunu.com.au. If unresolved, you can refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
